About the Program
The Do-Re-Wee Music Academy offers toddlers and preschoolers (from 8 months thru age 5) and their accompanying adult a quality introduction to music in a fun-filled group setting through songs, rhythm & rhyme, instruments, dance and more. In this early childhood music program — where you enjoy music together with your little one — you’ll see your child begin to develop a strong musical foundation, as well as an enjoyment of music. We believe that all children can grow musically and that an early introduction is a gift for a lifetime.

About the Founder, Anne Balto
Do-Re-Wee founder Anne Balto has combined her love of music, education, and the wonder of those early childhood years in creating her dream company.
With a background in piano, voice, clarinet, and drama, Anne double-majored at The College of William & Mary (where she co-founded the first women’s a capella group of the College’s modern era) before earning her Master’s at The George Washington University.
She has since engaged in widely varying musical experiences, including teaching music and drama in both public and independent schools; directing & music-directing numerous theatrical productions; serving as a church pianist and choral conductor; and growing the program at a center emphasizing early childhood music.
Anne and her husband Andrew have four young children of their own, who fill the house with constant noise ranging from the sweetly harmonious to the utterly cacophonous..
About Becca Jenkins
Becca Jenkins is so excited to be joining the Do Re Wee family! She graduated from Messiah College in 2009 with a vocal music degree, where one of her favorite experiences was student conducting the Susquehanna Children’s Chorale. Since graduating, she has taught private piano and voice lessons in the Bel Air area. She has seen first-hand the impact that music has in developing her own children’s learning, and is excited to share its benefits with Harford County’s talented kids!. Her little redheads Caleb (3) and Jocelyn (1.5) keep her running all day, building Legos, inventing paint projects, and laughing hysterically. They, along with her hard-working, servant-hearted husband John, are her greatest blessings; and they help to fill her life with music.
About Our Newest Instructor, Sandy Wolfe
Sandy Wolfe is pleased to be joining the team of musicians and educators at Do-Re-Wee! The mom of three young kids (who are growing up all too quickly), Sandy has always loved music and received a Minor in Music from Elizabethtown College. She has sung in choirs for 25+ years, studied voice, and also learned to play the trumpet. With a Master’s in Social Work, she also has a heart for working with young children and is excited to combine her love for music and her love for working with young children.
As a parent, Sandy knows the importance of resources and opportunities that involve her children in activities that encourage learning and growth; better still are the parent-child opportunities that allow for great involvement! That’s why, before moving to Pennsylvania, Sandy enjoyed Do-Re-Wee classes with her three little ones and quickly discovered a love for this music program. Now in Pennsylvania, Sandy is delighted to be offering the program at two locations, maintaining her belief that this early introduction to music is truly a gift that allows children to learn and grow, and it will bless them throughout life!
